Answer for everyone worried about stopping 9/11.
Go way back and make sure that Muhammad accepts Jesus as his personal lord and savior. Would save us all a lot of trouble over the years.

shareAmen.
Schrodinger's cat walks into a bar and doesn't.
Or just kill Jesus before he gets started. While you're at it, kill David too. (I know David didn't start Judaism; just making a point.)
Literally ends all conflict.
Get Abraham and Moses too.
shareEven better - Go back and tell Eve not to listen to the damned snake. Be sure to bring a bushel of apples with you.
shareThat's not so simple. I read a book from an historian who had studied islam, his claim (I don't know how substanciated it is) was that Muhammad and his followers were a christian sect when they started out. Then they changed their doctrine over time.

Or go back a little further and kill Emperor Constantine before he converts to Christianity. Both Christianity and Islam fade into being small unimportant cults, eliminating millions of violent deaths...or perhaps just replacing them with different deaths.
Still, speaking as both a non-Christian and non-Muslim, it initially seems like the more interesting option.
I know your post is blatant baiting... but, I'll bite.
Since these kinds of beliefs always rely on, "faith," garnered solely through the process of brainwashing defenseless children, and their eventual irreversible psychosis; the present-day solution is to fairly ban all religious groups, sects, and other cults.
There should then be a global initiative launched to allow anyone to prove - based on the performance of bonafide miracles, that everyone can equally witness - that the entity they worship is in fact all-powerful.
If it can be proved, without a shadow of doubt amongst the entire population... than we should all be forced to worship whomever it is that can prove they are the all-powerful. -- Of course, if such a far-reaching test were passed, everyone would willingly worship the all-powerful, as the event would be truly enlightening... and of course, worshiping would come easy, as it would be in all of our own best interests.
However, if it cannot be proved, than anyone worshiping false gods (which is all of the unproven ones) should be relegated to their nearest psych ward, until such time that either they are proven to be correct, or until they will relent their unfounded zealotry.
Better yet, don't create Earth.
