And obviously not to be taken seriously.

This reminds me of a sorta throwback to "Sliders" on FOX from the 90's.
Decent enough, but highly unlikely it makes it past 13 episodes.
Just like "Journeyman", also on NBC.
Pretty much agree with that, but it might find an audience. It's hard to judge on just the pilot, since pilot's are so very hard to do well, considering all the exposition that has to take place very quickly while still telling a self-contained story, all in 42 minutes.
As it stands for me, it was good enough to watch the next couple of episodes. I was glad to see that the terrorist they were chasing might have different motivations than just "I'm evil and do evil things!!!" Not saying he's a good guy, just that they set up a situation for a more complex storyline than it initially seemed. I liked the main trio well enough, though I'm not looking forward to what seems like an inevitable attreaction between Spencer and the soldier. Here's hoping they don't push that.
