Laughably bad yet, Abigail Spencer seems like a star in the making. She's got talent but the show around her is a complete mess it seems.

Spenser is pretty good in practically everything she does. I'm enjoying her in "Rectify".

But this is one of those shows that will not stand up to any sort of scrutiny. In order to enjoy it, you have to suspend your logic and knowledge circuits. In fact, just turn your brain off completely.

If you don't, you will have a miserable time watching this feather-light piece of whimsy.
