I liked this Pilot and episode 2 quite a bit, which was a surprise to me.
Firstly, mainly because I am not into baseball ( like way into) I don't hate it but it was of the very few sports my husband and I don't watch together. I played some softball in high school I just didn't find it fun to watch. Anyway...
The second reason I am concerned that I do not how long they are going to keep this story going and keep it as interesting.I can see one very great, full season of it being on but 3 or more I don't know. I mean it is great now and seems to have a good team behind it, so maybe they know what they will do with it, down the line if enough people watch it and it keeps getting renewed. That is just the only real concern I had about it though.
I like the cast, they play off of one another, great. (SPOILER:) LOL I don't know if it is considered a spoiler still but the twist with her father being dead thw whole time did actually shock me a little. I also like seeing how a person or people could imagine how a woman would or could be treated while playing a sport that has always been a "Man Only" sport.I can imagine it aND at the same time I can't but it keeps me entertained. I also do not what to think of Ali later character. I am not really into it. She seems like a nice character and she seems to like and respect our main character but I just can't pinpoint what it is about her character. It sucks too because I have mostly, liked her acting and characters in a lot of tv/movies I have watched over the years.
Anyway..
I really liked the first 2 episodes and I am interested in seeing where the show takes me. I hope it does well once we get all of the really popular and highly watch TV shows back on.

What did you guys think?
Do you think they could carry this specific storyline on for multiple seasons?
Is there a character you don't care for yet?

That is true of every TV series that has ever been produced, isn't it??

it's easier to figure out how other shows can make their show interesting. pitch cant keep doing the same thing over and over again.

I'm enjoying it, myself. I'm a big fan of baseball, which drew me to the series in the first place. I think the characters are interesting and have room to develop, so hopefully they can write at least three solid seasons out of this. I like the actors, also.

Same here. I'm a big baseball fan and played softball for 15 years so I was going to watch this show anyway. With that said, I definitely think 3 seasons should be plenty to tell the story they want to tell. It gets stronger every week, I'm in.
