Her making All-Star game is probably the most realistic thing on this show

It's all fan voting. I remember when the Royals hosted the all star game, almost the whole starting lineup consisted of Royals players.

The best example of fan voting by far was last year in the NHL bunch of us NHL fans banned together and voted in this old goon hack John Scott. By the time the game rolled around he was in the minors. So at the all star game he just wore a black jersey with the NHL logo on it lol.

Just shows how fan voting is ridiculous.

So her getting voted to the all star game is completely realistic.

Fans can't vote for pitchers

Here is how the All-Star selections work for MLB:

Fans vote for the 8 position player starters (plus American League DH)

Players, coaches and managers vote for 8 pitchers (5 starters, 3 relievers) and 8 reserves (1 per position)

Each team's All-Star manager (last year's league champion) fills out the roster up to 33 players (9 for NL, 8 for AL), and must make sure at least 1 representative from each team is selected.

The manager and Commissioner's Office compile a list of 5 players for each league for fans to vote for the final roster spot.

I don't really buy that the player vote would select her as one of the 5 starting pitchers, and I don't see the NL manager adding her as one of his picks. The only way I see her making it is if it is the commissioner's choice to add her to the final vote for the publicity she brings. In that scenario, I could see her winning that final fan vote.
