I think it's getting interesting way beyond baseball. I think they're sympathetic characters with very different takes on what's going on and different challenges in their lives.
I particularly like the catcher and the team manager and I'm warming up to the general manager.
I too am really enjoying this show. It is going way beyond baseball into an entity all its own.
shareMe too - I don't really care if it's technically feasible for her to play. That's not really the point. The point is what it would be like for a woman in that environment and they are spot on. Then they take it to the next level by fleshing out her teammates and making them relatable. I loved how the GM's daughter was starstruck, and how they are developing a friendship between Ginny and Mike.
