I don't watch this show, but hard to miss the commercials for it on repeat, and I could of sworn when they were first advertising it, that the woman's name was Jackie(Jacklyn?) Robinson.
Does that ring a bell for anyone else or is my memory shot.
I remember thinking that was pretty on the nose for a name.
Not sure if this is a joke or not but no the name has not been changed. Jackie Robinson was an MLB player. The similarity is that he broke the color barrier and this character breaks the gender barrier.

Major League Baseball has retired jersey number 42 to honor the first black man in Major League Baseball, so the writers of this show wanted to draw a parallel to the first woman in the MLB.

I know. Which is why I found it odd when I heard the same name(so I thought), as if the creators didn't even realize - or was capitalizing(and cheapening), on what Jackie did.
