Is it just me, or is Ginny not all that likeable?

I find myself enjoying every character on the show EXCEPT Ginny.

I don't know it that was intentional?

It's not the worst show out there. The beanball episode was pretty great.

reply

Well she's socially awkward etc because of her upbringing etc due to her father and stuff. She's going to be a bit high-strung with so much on her plate you know.

reply

Seriously, why do female characters always have to be "likable" while male characters can be whatever the hell they want? Tired of that---she's a person with flaws trying to cope with all the hype, pressures, and expectations that automatically come with being the "first" anything in any field. That being said, I like the show so far---it's a pretty good drama---fck what the haters say.

reply

On the other hand: why is it a problem when an unlikeable female character gets called unlikeable?
If a man is being an a..hole, he gets called an a..hole.
Ginny is a spoiled brat and behaving atrociously! There, I said it

reply

Well said, I like her character and the show.

reply

I like the show a lot. and I really like Ginny a lot. I think I'm in love with her a little.

Just finished the second episode and find her flat and one dimensional. People keep saying she's playing a great range of emotions, but I'm not seeing it. It's not about her being likeable. It's about talent. Looking forward to seeing BETTER from this actor.

To me you are the teacher in a Charlie Brown cartoon

reply

Maybe they should have used an actual actor (an athletic one at that) instead of a model and would have achieved better results. She is bad.

reply

She seems a bit spoiled. "What else you got". Well what do YOU have? Spoiled brat.

reply

How did that sound spoiled. It was in reference to her being able to handle things. First the skillz contest then not letting the sexy selfies bother her.
