No no no

I really like this show, but why oh why did they have to go the Mike/Jenny have romantic feeling for each other. I just don't see any romantic chemistry together, but they do have a good brother/sister type chemistry. Besides I like Mike with Amelia much better

Yes yes yes. Also, Ginny, not Jenny.

Actually, at some point I think they could spin Amelia off into a show of her own. We're watching and enjoying a show about the first female to pitch in Major League Baseball. Why not one about the only female sports agent?

After all, have any of us every seen a female sports agent? When we think of agent, we think of Jerry MaGuire. Amelia would have to keep Ginny as her client and maybe get a few more just under the radar female clients. Female athletes like the adorable Laurie Hernandez, who just won Dancing With The Stars or her team mate, Simone. Maybe a golfer from the LPGA or Diana Tarusi or Candace Parker from the WNBA or even a wrestler like Charlotte Flair.

Amelia would continually be swimming in a "sea of male sharks", who represent all the superstar male athletes. Amelia would need that big name like Clayton Kershaw or Bryce Harper, Tom Brady or Matt Ryan or LeBron James before she could establish herself as a truly legitimate sports agent. But because she's a woman and because she knows almost nothing about sports - except for the San Diego Padres (The gender card would have to be played to make it work) none of the big marquee name, athletes would bother to talk to her - much less take her seriously.

Eventually, just like she found Ginny, Amelia would also finally find that one male athlete who really does have faith in her and who actually does take her seriously. The character of Amelia could really be good in a show of her own.

There are female sports agents though. Not many, but they do exist.

There have always been lots of female movie agents, the way Amelia began her career. I honestly didn't know that there really were a few women swimming around with the male sharks. Do you know who any of them are? I'd just like to read their backgrounds and see how close they actually are to Amelia.

I just found a partial answer to my own question. There's an article from Apr 27, 2015 - that says there's about 50 women are among the 875 agents registered with the NFL Players Association. I wonder how the ratios are in other sports? This makes the idea of Amelia in her own show look even more interesting.
