Simply put..... I think the guy is playing a great part..... although unfortunately these days..... that has very little to do with being nominated for an emmy..... let alone actually receiving one.

I agree. All of his speech scenes were so good, he deserves one.

He could find a second calling as the man that takes all the rest of us cavemen into the women's world!

So hard to believe this is the same guy from "Saved by the Bell".
He's doing a fantastic job as the seasoned ball player who, with all his aches and pains, looks like he is on his way out.

I saw the pitch tv commercial, the dude in beard. I didn't even know it was him, he looks hella different.

It is unfortunate that even if he would garner a nomination, his work will be ignored for someone appearing on a non-network show since it seems the networks cannot get credit for fine acting. The Emmy will go to some movie star slumming in one of these limited episode shows.
