The season finale

Cant believe next week is the end of the season already.

It's not necessarily the end of the season. However, Pitch is going on hiatus, which would give them time to film more shows. Because the writers wrote a full season's worth of scripts. Beginning in January, the series finale episodes of Bones are taking over the Thursday (;)) PM time slot. Once those 10 - 12 episodes air, then the time slot becomes vacant again and there's no reason to think that Pitch won't return.

They could do something in the interim that would help with viewership too. They should show the 10 shows on the Major League Baseball Network, then they'd have the to attract the audience that they most need. And if it does return in mid-March, the timing would be just right because the 2017 Baseball season would be gearing up and even more viewers would give this wonderful show a look.

FYI, Bones will be on Tues nights...Hell's Kitchen, My Kitchen Rules and then MasterChef Jr are on Thurs nights all through the Spring...

Bones is airing on Thursday's and Pitch's time slot. It's posted right there, Thursday 9:00 PM on their mid-season schedule on their web-site. There's only 10 - 12 episodes of Bones, so the series that you listed might be following later.

You're looking at an old schedule...Bones premieres Tues Jan 3 after New Girl and The Mick. Hell's Kitchen is on Thurs.

Showing encore presentations on the MLB Network, I like that idea.

I looked was the day before Thanksgiving and Bones was scheduled for Thursdays at 9:00 PM. And I also posted more than once that the MLB Network was the way the way they needed to go during the hiatus. That way baseball fans who have yet to find Pitch will finally have the chance to discover it.

They had Pitch's hiatus scheduled when the show premiered. All the way back in September, they'd planned to air Bones series finale episodes on Thursday's at 9:00. I just double checked Fox's mid-season line up on their site and Bones is still listed for Thursdays at 9:00, for about 10 weeks.

I don't know what your obsession is, but as I said before, you are looking at an old link.

Bones premieres Tues Jan 3 for its 12-episode final season.

They want a strong lead in line "New Girl."

reply

I looked less than an hour ago and nothing's changed. I don't even watch Bones. I loved Castle! Oh how I miss him and Beckett! Fox's website clearly lists Bones on Thursdays at 9:00 PM, while Hell's Kitchen (Thank God!) isn't even listed on their schedule. You're exactly right about Jess being Ginny's lead in. New Girl and Pitch have the two most popular female leads on Fox's line up. New Girl's being killed by Brooklyn 9 9 as a lead in. A New Girl switch to Thursday or a Pitch switch to Wednesday when dramatically improve the audiences of both shows.

Bones premieres on Tues Jan 3, and it's not moving to Thursdays.

Then you should tell that to their website. Decause they've got it wrong somewhere.

I don't know what they have to say. It makes no difference anyway. Whatever it is, I'm against it.

End of season. Only 10 shows. Was supposed to be a spring show and was moved up. If it comes back, it will next year.

reply

No. It should return in the late Spring. There's no way new shows wouldn't be airing in conjunction with Fox's baseball broadcasts. That was their original plan before Pitch's premiere date was moved up. If they were to hold new episodes back until the Fall, they'd miss almost the entire baseball season.
