Way too many movies try to do "this" and end up incorrectly doing "that". This movie did exactly what it was trying to do. It was trying to be a cheesy B movie. Accept it for what it was and it's not too bad.

share I agree, this movie went with a cheesy aesthetic on purpose, and it worked well in my opinion.
The social commentary was spot on mocking both the left and the right for the complete lunatics they both are, and I think that's where some have issues.
This film doesn't take sides, so if you lean one way or another you'll find something to get offended by, and that's what I love most about it!
It reminded me alot of the comics in the old Heavy Metal magazine.
