You want to bash a generation..

Let's make a TV show about a generation of people who raised their kids a certain way and then complained about how their kids were parented. Let's make a TV show about a generation of people who told their kids to get a college education, which put them in massive debt and then not only brake the economy making it impossible to get a job but then create a hiring practice that runs a credit check to see if your "responsible". Which guess what? You are going to fail because all those student loans are in default. Let's make a TV show about a generation of people who sucked up all the resources then told their kids to work hard and stay dedicated for half the pay. Let's make a TV show about a generation of people who own everything, are in charge of everything and then complains about everything as if they aren't the ones in charge.

LET'S MAKE THAT TV SHOW

I'm black, gay, and a nerd; just staying alive is an act of protest.

so, let's make a show about sniveling, government loving, soccer-mom liberals?

Shouldn't be hard in Hollywood, but right now (and since the 60s) they are too busy making fun of the middle American values that made this country. That is to say, conservative values.

RE: "...then not only brake the economy making..."

Did you go to college, like your elders told you?

Oh look, a millennial whining.

Umm, my older daughter went to a private college but got a fair amount of scholarships and only students loans were the Stanford loans. She got a good job when she graduated in 2015 because she chosed a good major (Industial Engineering). She just bought a house with her fiancé. I think you premise is flawed. Or to quote The Grail Knight

He chose... poorly.

Let's make a TV show about whiny, butthurt, self entitled brats...oh, wait. They just did. And I loved it.

What was your degree in? Medieval studies or something stupid like that? Try going to trade school, sweetie. I need a new mechanic.

People refuse to acknowledge that Colleges are businesses first and havens for higher education second. And a lot of colleges teeter on the edge of being straight up rackets, and not just the online ones.
