You've never seen a show with a laughtrack before? They had laughtracks back when George Burns and Gracie Allen were making a kinescope while they were doing their TV show in New York and then flying it to the other coast to be shown a few days later.

Big Bang Theory has a laugh track. I hear no complaints about that show sucking because of it.
