Episode 1 earned a look at Episode 2

Episode 1 was by no means a barnburner but there were enough good moments to merit watching another episode. It was better than the first episode of Community and certainly better than any episode of Life In Pieces.

A few notes:

1. I hope Zeb is always just a voice and we never see him.
2. I like the Brooke character. I like that she is strong and sees through *beep* easily. Susannah Fielding has good timing and is a total babe in a nerdy way. She has the chops to carry the female lead. I like the tension between Brooke and Jack. We know they will end up in the sack again. I think it will be fun getting there.
3. I hope I'm not the only person hoping the writers finagle a paintball episode sometime this season.
4. Christine Ko is hot and I want them to keep her in short skirts for the rest of the series.
5. The meetings between Jack, Brooke, HR and the lawyer were funny. I work in academia. Unfortunately meetings about "hostile environment" actually occur.
6. I don't know if they have a series of several seasons worth of millennial gags. Let's see how the next two or three episodes go. These characters will have to develop for this show to have any longevity.

About halfway through, and I was thinking the same. Some pretty funny moments, and the cast has good chemistry for a pilot. I'm interested to see where they go, as I don't think they can carry a series solely on the gap between X and Millenial. Looking forward to seeing a few more.
