Just Shoot Me

Not even five minutes into the pilot episode and I can already tell it's basically 'Just Shoot Me' with an outdoor magazine instead of fashion. Hopefully it gets funnier as the series progresses, but so far, 'JSM' was way funnier.

"Just Shot Me": my exact thought while I was watching this show.

I predict this show will end with all language being replaced by text message emojis while daily Microaggression Trials take place in buildings shaped like trophies.

Similar format but addressing more up to date social issues, the focus is on middle aged people's view or disconnect of the strange youth trends.

Couldn't agree with you more OP. So this is where we've reached however many years on from Just Shoot Me?

I can't believe you're equating this to Just Shoot Me! JSM was a great show, this is a pile of tripe. I've tried to like, truly I have. I've sat through both episodes, and both made me want to barf. Between the over the top tech aspect of the millennials, and even worse, the super-inflated egotist Jack, I don't which is more ridiculous. This show bites.

Just Shoot Me had a concept that was more ensemble. Here it's revolving around one character as the clear lead.
