Very Conventional
I don't care about hearing an audience laughing. I care about the quality of the sitcom story and jokes. The characters are nice and broad and well-defined which is a good thing for a sitcom. This is an amusing sitcom to this connoisseur of sitcoms but I was hoping for something a little more unconventional within the old sitcom format. I wasn't hoping for some "New Girl"-ish semi-improvished plotless mire or the surreal style of "Community" or certainly not the marble-mouthed dialogue delivery of CBS' only Millennial-ish sitcom, "2 Broke Girls". I was hoping that the plots wouldn't be something I've seen a dozen times before: internet dating, the boss cutting company perks.
