So does this show.....

accurately reflect millenials attitudes, behavior etc.? Jack and Roland seem a little too out of touch for the elderly. And for that matter, what age group is Brooke supposed to be?

Brooke should be around the same age group with Jack, as in not millennial. But younger than Jack and Roland of course.

Susannah Fielding was born in 1985, well within the millennial demographic. Joel McHale was born in 1971 a clear Gen-Xer. This may not apply to the characters they play.

Personally I don't see the point of naming age groups. I go by actual ages:

under 25-I can do anything, I'm going to live forever.
25-30- When did it start hurting to stay out all night and drink.
the 30's- Important things start falling off or down and pizza and beer don't go away
the 40's- Hey kids! I'm still hep
the 50's- Adult people start calling you sir or ma'am.
the 60's- I'm done with technology. I've got all I need and I don't need anymore.
the 70's-a definite lapse into youth. There used to be stories on the radio. We would walk down to the five and dime to get a seltzer.
the 80's every things a blur. Why is every body in such a hurry?
the 90's My shows are on!
past that- Ahh Crap! The nursing homes bring me a cupcake. It must be my birthday.

Age of the actress is one thing but Brooke called herself millennial whisperer, can't call herself that if she is a millennial herself.

That does make sense.
But she does seem young for that.
(One mans opinion.)

This show is not nearly as deep as the questions you ask about it. It's horrid and as shallow as the swamp in which it was spawned.

Joel McHale is "elderly"? Oh man, the millennial generation is going have the roughest time handling aging.

I'm thinking mostly of the episode @emma, where the two guys try to do Emma's job. They fail miserably. OK I get that they might not be as good, but confusing Facebook with e-mail seems a bit much.
That and Jack refusing to even consider on-line dating just sound weird to me. I thought the characters thing was trying new adventures.
