What is wrong with CBS this year...every one of their cheesy new sitcoms has canned laugh tracks. It's horribly sad when the big kisses the mark and isn't funny to the viewer and you hear the canned laughs. CBS has 3 of these stinkers doing it this year.
shareYeah, laugh tracks are definitely geared towards older viewers, lowest common denominator, and people who are multitasking while watching.
The only reason I can still see it alive is for nostalgia reasons, but I don't know how long they can coast on that. This show is definitely not as popular as Big Bang Theory and they can't keep that show going forever, hopefully canned laugh tracks will die soon, but until then I just don't watch CBS.
It is a shame that Joel McHale and Stephen Fry are working together and it's still so bad I can't even watch it.
