It is funny that Millennials are offended
Maybe we should arrange a safe place with coloring books for them to deal with the trauma of microaggresions.

shareI know. Very few of them know how to laugh at themselves. Some are very angry about a comedy.

well I think the jokes just suck, but that's me. I mean make fun of liberal millennials as much as you want but if it's not witty at all the jokes just turn into insults. stereotypes with no punchline, generalizations of people with no point but for the sake of pointing it out.
there are shows that do a way better job than this show in having a conservative view point with humor. for one last man standing is a decent show that poke fun at liberals in a realistic way, and not just generalize them. they point out things and give it a punchline to it. for a more balanced of liberal and conservative humor The Carmichael Show is amazing at that. yet again because it actually trys to make a joke and not just laugh at a generations stereotypes.
The show is not political, then again millennials tend to be oversensitive about everything.
If it is a bad show people are usually disappointed instead of being angry.

smart, stay away from other points of views even if they are presented well or not.

your watching this show, so you like one Conservative comedy, and it's not a good one.

whether a show is good or not is a matter of opinion but saying a show's political view point is up for debate is stupid. the show has a theme characters and a sense of humor, that isn't a matter of opinion. I mean we can talk about the death of the author all day but you can clearly see where this show and many other shows get their sense of humor from and what it leans on.
it's like debating if trump is a conservative or not.
This show is politically neutral. The writers are making jokes at the expense of certain age groups, not their politics.
As for debating if Trump is a conservative or not, well he isn't. He's a Facist.
they are making jokes at certain age groups who who act in a way that you can easily tell their political beliefs are left leaning. if they were right leaning it be just as clear, unless you never meant a right winged young person.(yet again smart thinking staying in your echo chamber of thought)
saying you can't tell a political views of a movie or show is like saying the old Nazi propaganda movies wasn't about Jews, but just money hording, big nosed, men and women. If you think they're talking about Jews, well that's just your option.
and speaking of Nazis, Fascism is a word that's thrown around a lot and shares a few things with with conservatism like national idealism with economy and a love of state/national pride of the country itself and the leader.
honestly America shouldn't be considered a country, it's really just a big business and a better example of Fascism would be north Korea.
even president Trump can't turn America into a fascist nation.
If they were to depict a young right-wing person on a CBS sitcom such as this they'd probably be a really stereotypical dumb redneck with a stockpile of guns because CBS likes to boil down groups to their most basic, exaggerated traits. It never really feels like they're being written by people who are like that or even know others like that--same with millenials and gen x on this show, same with nerds on Big Bang Theory. It feels like there's one guy in the room who knows about the references and he's just has to describe it to people who have no idea.
I dunno, I'm a nerd and a millenial who grew up with gen x siblings and I can't get into the CBS shows, not just that I don't relate to the characters but also the canned laughter and 3-camera sitcom setup feels to me like a dead medium being propped up by the nostalgia of baby boomers.
You're confusing generational conflict with politics. Somebody has done a good job of brainwashing you. Who's the conservative character in this comedy? The creator of this sitcom is a liberal.
I actually have trouble spotting many so-called conservative comedies. There's Last Man Standing which I've never seen and the work of Mike Judge (Extract, The Goode Family, Idiocracy) can be conservative leaning satire. I'm at a loss for any more.
It's not the best show, but the cracks at the millennials do make me laugh.

These places DO exist. They're called Colleges and Universities.
shareI don't think it's so much offensive as it is unrelatable.
shareI think it's very relatable. I know people who have had to work with ex lovers. I know people who have had workplace crushes. I know people who've had to switch to jobs that they didn't like. I know people who have been engaged way too long. I know companies based on nepotism. I know people who would see something amazing and pull out their cell phones rather than enjoy the sight.
The show just needs to hit its stride.
Agreed, the show is 100% relatable. And it's not like the humour is all one sided against the millennials; they make just as much fun of Jack as he does of them. It really is starting to hit it's stride.
shareYeah, that's about it. I love the show. I think it has so much potential. It needs to settle in, but I think it's getting there.
shareLike most groups who get offended, they are not paying attention.
Thats a clown question , BRO.......
CLOSE the FRIGGEN BORDER ALREADY!!!
I think that the portrayal of kids is hysterical. Yes, it generalizes but if the shoe fits....I laugh at the way shows make fun of gen x and boomers.
