I've only seen the ads, but they made it look like the formulaic "comment, retort, canned laughter. And repeat ad nauseam." type of show. Like Kevin Can Wait or Cristela. Not a good sign.

Yes, it is exactly like that. It's your basic run-of-the-mill CBS sitcom complete with laugh track and extremely inaccurate representations of people (with this it's Millenial vs Gen X but it feels like it was written by baby boomers)
