Hellraiser started to go rotten after Inferno a part from Deader that i loved the rest was not very good.
With a budget of 500000$ its gonna suck

Halloween had a lower budget than this. I guess that movie sucks. Night of the Living Dead had a lower budget. Guess that sucks as well.
Yes this film will probably be awful, but not because of its budget.

Well... adjusted for inflation... those films had higher budgets. As someone who has directed a film in this busget range... I, personally cannot see doing Hellraiser any justice. These are very visceral films. Even the initial straight to video releases.
shareYou're right, and Halloween really wasn't an effects-heavy movie. Not much gore, just a little fake blood here and there, the only makeup effects I can think of was Michael's mutilated eye. Even the mask was just something they bought from a costume shop and crudely altered.
Still, Revelations pulled off quite a bit considering its budget was even lower than Judgment's. I still couldn't get around how Pinhead looked. The makeup was too cartoonish and fake looking, and I'm not sure if that was the fault of the actor or poor makeup quality or both.
