They're just rushing this sequel to hold onto the rights.. They just lost Halloween.

Weird how they have more faith in hell raiser then halloween

I don't know about that. To me, it seems more like they were unwilling to make a really cheap DTV Halloween movie just to retain the rights because Halloween still has more of a blockbuster reputation(at least by horror standards), while Hellraiser has been dragged through the mud by Dimension for so long that cheap ashcan copy movies hardly make a difference.

yea but if they rushed a POS halloween and kept the rights wouldn't it be worth it to make a good one after and it makes over 100 mil WW?

I think the Hellraiser fanbase has always been relatively small compared to Halloween's fanbase.
