Watching This For The Second Time
(1) Really still liking it, but . . .
(2) . . . there was NO WAY that a Charlene Harris - novel-based series was going to survive on a broadcast TV network. The Broadcast and Standards are Puritanical. True Blood ran 7 seasons on HBO. This tanked after 2 seasons on NBC. I applauded Harris for creating 2 fantasy series that largely differed from each other, Midnight having relatively minimal vampire influences Wiccan/Christian orientation and a US Western location, True Blood, a Bayou location and a Gothic orientation. Both have series have tons of sex, but Texas is hog-tied by NBC Network Standards and Practices, AKA, censorship. This show was doomed.
