Anyone else think all the fourth wall breaks kinda ruin the X-Men movies?

The Deadpool movies are comedies, but the X-Men movies aren't, yet are in the same universe.

No, since there's no fourth wall breaks in the X-Men films. Deadpool aren't X-Men films, thery're films with X-Men in them.

But the Deadpool movies are in the X-Men universe, so Deadpool is an X-Men character. It's no different from Charles Xavier breaking the fourth wall.
