why was Deadpool so angry in the first movie?

the guys he was chasing and killing, saved his life....... being ugly is a small price to pay for being alive

Well he was a mercenary...they are not generally kind folk😉

right..... but he was just a regular dude who got cancer...... he was not a mercenary before that.. if i recall correctly

Check out the pizza guy in the beginning of his story.

To be fair, they didn't tell him that the process involved being tortured for quite a long time, or being sold as a mercenary slave afterwards.

I don't know, maybe you're the kind of mellow guy who wouldn't mind that sort of thing, and wouldn't be obsessively angry and vengeful afterwards. And who might go on with your life in spite of being made hideous, and not live like you have nothing better to do than find revenge.
