I know the interior scenes are filmed in Bethpage, but the Go Cart Scenes were filmed outside on actual streets. I am curious as to what town/streets this scene was shot in.
shareInterestingly enough, the shot of the diner in the first episode was some type of stock footage of a diner because it is no longer around. The diner was across the street from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY (my alma mater/employer). That shot is at least a couple of years old because that diner is gone and has been replaced by a new dorm. Also, the diner shot showed a tree filled with green leaves while the go-kart scene had tress with no leaves.
