Does anyone else think that Kevin and his wife's bedroom looks like Ray and Debra's bedroom from ELR? The windows on each side of the bed is what made me notice. But, then as I looked around more, I noticed the closet on the left that was also in the ELR bedroom set. I wonder if it's the same actual set. Just a thought. :)
shareThe layout of the kitchen to living room to front door is the same as well. I'm sure that set was struck a long time ago, but the set design is very much inspired by Raymond.

shareIt might be a standard setup for sitcoms to make it easy for the camera crew to film while not being too distracting for the cast.
The downstairs reminded me of KOQ's and even Maude.
I saw an episode of Maude recently and it was surprisingly funny. Sometimes I see an old show and it's unwatchable. Maude was going for exaggerated stereotypes and phoniness so the dated look of the 70's actually helped keep its humor intact.
I noticed the bedroom similarity right away.
