Not a great show, but better than IMDB rating suggests

Kevin Can Wait isn't that great of a show, but it has it's moments. And when you compare it to other shows on IMDB, it deserves better than a 5.6 (I mean look what every Netflix show is rated, even the terrible 'The Ranch' has a 7.5).

The same thing happened with King of Queens, the show is amazing and only has a 7.4! Based on other shows of similar or worse quality it should be at least in the mid 8's.

Is Kevin James disliked on this site, or am I just overrating both shows?

Personally, I rarely go by IMDb ratings. There are plenty of examples of certain shows/movies either being rated too high or too low. The problem is anybody can vote in this system, and there are plenty of people willing to mess up the ratings for their own personal pleasure.
