I'm glad. I figured early on it was pretty much guaranteed to get a full season order. Hopefully it can continue to get good ratings and continue for seasons to come.

Episode 5 was okay, but again they're borrowing way too many King of Queens storylines. This was exactly the same as the episode where Doug lied to Carrie about a romantic line he came up with being from a movie.
I'm not surprised by the renewal. Kevin James on TV will get solid ratings.
The show just needs time to develop and find its footing.
or the time when Doug forgot their anniversary, the annoying boss from Carrie's firm paralell. I agree, even the fake Deacon who's miscast btw. All that being said, it's Kevin James who will forever be "Doug" ultimately keeps me watching.
