King of Queens 2.0 and I love it

All the whining here is too much. I loved King of Queens and this show helps fill that entertainment void. Now, I have a reason to watch network TV.
Some issues, however. James in barely 50, so "retired cop" is a bit off. His wife is too young for him, not quite ala Fred & Ethel, but noticeable.

This is much better than most sitcoms, like the show with the two skank waitresses, and most others are put-downs and sex jokes.

Anyway, welcome back Kevin--the wait has been worth it. (Bring back Leah and Victor, but don't bother looking up Spence.)

I agree with you there. The King of Queens was a great show. James is just a good sitcom actor. It's nice having him back on TV. Multi-cam sitcoms have sadly decreased in quality over the years. While Kevin Can Wait is hardly a great show it's a good step in the right direction for reviving multi-cam sitcoms.
