That looks like the most uncomfortable chair ever made. The sides sit up so high that your arms are above your head if you use them. And then you're all boxed in on both sides. I'd hate to have a drink and try to set it on the table next to it. I guess you have to crawl out of the chair each time you want to take a sip.
The wife definitely picked that out and not the Kevin character.
I agree, it looks really uncomfortable. I noticed how low Kevin and Donna were when sitting on it. That would drive me crazy.

I took notice of this too. I actually find the decor of the whole house rather unrealistic for this family. But that chair especially. A big fat ex-cop would not enjoy sitting in a fancy high end arty chair meant for looking at and not comfort.

I would have expected a large La-Z-Boy recliner. Like what I have.
I would get claustrophobic being boxed in by the arms of that white chair.
