Invest in this show folks. For the next 10 years or so Kevin Can Wait will be all the talk. Get on board now so you don't look like a fool at the water cooler when "last nights" show topics come up.
This is the new "IT SHOW"
I don't think I would call it the new "it show". I don't think network multi-cam sitcoms have the type of draw anymore. However, I am enjoying the show so far. It's nice to see Kevin James back on TV. He's great on sitcoms. I am hoping the show lasts.

Even if it stays for many years, nobody will place it with the classics. "According to Jim" is its ceiling, at best (not even at the same level right now).

"According to Jim" was pleasant enough, but I agree that it's not all that memorable.
This show has potential, but right now it's coasting on Kevin's star power and mildly amusing scripts. I don't see it becoming the "IT" show unless there's an episode that really gets people talking. But I'm on board for now.
