Kendra and Chale

These two are criminally underused so far. In the pilot, it was seemingly set up that the main premise of the show was that by them moving in, it ruined/impacted on Kevin's retirement plans, even to the point that Kevin mentioned having to find part time employment to bring in the money they would otherwise had got by renting the garage.

Yet they have only featured sparingly. When they have appeared, they have been funny. I thought the main premise was Chale being a thorn in Kevin's side. We have seen small exchanges, but nothing much.

What is frustrating is that in the last 3 episodes, one off character seem to have had more screen time than the so called regulars. The Chore Weasel, Donna's Book Club friends, Goody's wife.......

Let's see more of the regular cast first, please.

I've liked the daughter very much when I seen her at and another show butt I agree she is greatly underused in this show. However I absolutely cannot stand for boyfriend and I would prefer as little of him in the show as possible preferably none.

I thought the Chore Weasel character has been the funniest character on the show thus far, and that includes Kevin James. They should make a show about him.

He is Kendra's fiancé not her boyfriend.

I thought Chale would be featured prominently. He has the ability to be what Kramer was to Seinfeld. Great character.

I actually thought Chale was kind of going to stink as a character, but since the pilot I've kind of grown to like him. I think the writers should experiment with some story lines involving Kevin and Chale just to see how things go.

Yeah, definitely need more Chale!

I like him too. When he was first introduced, I thought he was going to be some self-righteous know-it-all that would be the antithesis of Kevin James' character. That type of character has been done to death in TV and movies and we don't need another one. I love how Chale is so meek and passive, and desperately trying to win his future father-in-law's approval. He has become my favorite supporting character on the show. I laugh every time he gives that goofy smile!
