He's pulling out all the stops to try and save this turd. Kevin, it's done. It's lame, it sucks and it's not funny. Give it up, bro

I was just coming on to make the same comment. I would also like to add that the actress who plays the wife is HORRIBLE. She doesn't say her lines like a normal person; she speaks as though she is shocked and confused at the words that are coming out of her mouth. There are parts of the show that are ok, but there is a lot wrong with it. I guess that is why the guest stars. Also, half of the characters, including Gary Valentine (Kevin James' real-life brother), are brought over from King Of Queens. They should have brought Leah Remini if they were going to do that - at least she can act.

The scene in the pizza place where they were singing was almost painful to watch.

True. I turned away and played my Monster Busters game on my IPad until it was over. I'm only watching this because there was no NCIS or Bull tonight. Once they're back I'm outta here.

I actually have been enjoying the series so far, but yeah, I have to concede that tonight's episode was pretty weak. And the singing scene bordered on unwatchable.

Agree. She's lame, and even the kid from Brooklyn is annoying in this. Time to cut the cord. We've stopped watching. Gave it every chance

Oh my gosh I agree!This show reeks of desperation. The guest stars are way too obvious this early in a show. I sat through it feeling so bad for everyone on the show...then I thought...wait why did I just sit through this? That thought was depressing so I turned on netflix. CBS Monday night is done.

I enjoyed the first five episodes, but the Romano, Halloween and Sandler episodes were piss weak.

Let's hope they get back to normal from episode 9.

Sandler was funnier than James tonight and that's not saying much. Whichever writer thought it was cute/funny/clever to have them sing You Don't Bring Me Flowers needs to be flogged (40 years ago called, and they want their "hilarious" gag of two men singing it to each other back).

Did they dump Gary Valentine? I don't think he's been around for a while. Must be working on some more starring roles in hit television shows.

The more I see the wife, the more I think she was better on Childrens Hospital.

Thankfully no Chale this week and I guess the younger kids have moved out. Good.
