The son and younger daughter maybe 30-45 seconds at best.

I have no interest in them either so I'm happy about them not appearing. They were a mistake. They should just make it a running gag about them not appearing.

shareI don't even remember the third kid. They barely know what to do with the older daughter and boyfriend. It's obvious they're trying to make this show the Kevin James Experience until it finds its audience. I'm sure they'll explore the family more in the future when they run out of ideas. One of the strengths of a somewhat similar show was Still Standing and how they handled the kids in that.
