Screen Time

10 episodes in, Kevin has been in just about every scene. The supporting cast may be weak but at some point a show has to be about more than just one character. Last week the only scene that Kevin was not in was the one with his friends driving over to pick him up, less than a minute of screen time.

The young kids play almost no part in the show, I am not even sure why their characters were included at all. Episodes with Ray Ramano and Adam Sandler reek of desperation, shouldn't a show develop its own cast early on, instead of adding guest stars and special gimmicks?

Anyway, I was shocked to see CBS picked up more episodes. Maybe it will improve.

Great news. I didn't know they picked up more episodes. As most shows do, it has to find it's way in the first season before it really hits it's stride.

This word for word describes my feelings on the show. The support cast get criticised here, but have had little to do.

Totally agree, bringing in Romano and Sandler so early in the run reeks of desperation.
