To those critical of Erinn Hayes...

I know some of the writing on this new series is hit-and-miss, and some have even said they don't think she's a good actress, but it's not her acting ability that is the problem, but some of the mediocre writing. She really is a good actress; check her out on "Children's Hospital" and watch how good she is when surrounded by a talented cast and strong writing.

*Also, she was good in this movie "It's A Disaster" and she was really good on a guest role on "Parks and Recreation" and on "Workaholics". She's a talented actress! :)

I've always thought the main problem of this show is the mediocre writing. It's just not funny. Most episodes I just sit there and shake my head at how pedestrian and dull the "jokes" are and how bland everything feels. I really loved King of Queens and still watch it to this day. Kevin James is killing his legacy in my mind by participating in this.

The woman who plays the wife was funny in Childrens Hospital and maybe with better writing she could be okay in this. As it is now, there is no chemistry between any of the characters and it's not very fun to watch. And Kevin James overacting isn't helping things. It's cartoonish and seems to be aimed at tweens. I hope it gets better or is replaced by something better.

Bring back "Rules of Engagement"! Now that was a show with good writing. Hire those writers and dump the kids!

It's not Erinn Hayes that is the problem. She is miscast as the wife and is not believable...Also, the writing is terrible and she isn't given much to do or say.
