One of my favorite modern plays

I was really looking forward to this. Unfortunately this laugh track TV show doesn't quite measure up.

I hear you, but people said the same about "The Odd Couple", which eventually turned into one of the best sitcoms ever, via the movie. The original Odd Couple sitcom, not the sadly average remake.

Haven't seen Superior Donuts yet, but I'm a big fan of Judd Hirsch.

All CBS sit coms seem to have laugh tracks, even Mom, which is more of a dramedy and their very popular Big Bang Theory. You get so you can tune them out, at least if the show is genuinely funny (so not Odd Couple). I missed this last night, or just caught the last five minutes. But I like Judd Hirsch, so I'll try it Monday.
