Cute comedy...although some of the characters are stereotypical

I thought "Superior Donuts" had some nice laughs, but Jermaine Fowler's character was kinda stereotypical. The comedy relied a bit too much on racial/ethnic humor. But I'll continue to give the series a chance.

Agreed. Came across it on accident, watched it with my mom (she's 60, I'm 40)... We enjoyed it. Planning to watch it again, and follow the series.

I love Judd Hirsch. I'd watch him do anything. And since he plays the dad of Leonard on Big Bang Theory, using that for a lead in was smart.
