Funny thing; while I was watching the scene in the pilot where Franco walks in looking for a job, it reminded me of the pilot episode of Chico and the Man. Apparently I wasn't the only one.

SInce they are killing the msg boards in two weeks I'll chime in long enough to say I agree 100% about Chico and the Man. Young kid comes in out of nowhere and "saves" the old guy's business. They've managed to make fun of old and young and at least four races so far and I'm only 20 minutes into the first episode. I disagree with the "Taxi meets MWC tho, Alex Rieger and Peggy Bundy are NOT in this show, even if Judd Hirsch and Katey Sagal star in it.
