I thought it was a good re-creation of the events and I liked Dev Patel's performance.

Yes I did follow the story back in 2008. The movie filled in the details.

This movie is visceral alight. You will feel as though you're right in it. I don't think a single movie has ever had this effect on me.

Yes, it was quite gruelling to sit through in a cinema. Definitely not an easy story to watch.

Most intense film I have ever seen. It made me think ‘what would I do in this situation?’ Some chose to hide, others to run. Truly terrifying. It was a very hard to film to watch.

Yes, it was particularly disturbing considering the timing of it's release - coincidentally, it was a few days before the New Zealand mosque mass shootings.
