So... no famous villain never dies in these movies and becomes good and part of the family in next movie?

Momoa will become Best Friend Forever of Dom next movie right?

Its really funny to watch trailers of all fast movies back to back.

Its even more hilarious remembering how many innocent people died when villain was having his villain plot. Then next movie he is all like: "I’ve changed now. I am no longer bad guy anymore. Now I help heroes".

It’s in Fast 5 they started hiring famous actors as antagonists who try to destroy heroes. Dwayne Johnson was hired. Then starts helping Dom and family in next chapters.

In Fast 6 Luke Evans was main villain. They couldnt kill him. Rises from the dead and shows up in Fast 8 to help Dom.

Fast 7 - Jason Statham is the bad guy. Becomes ally of Dom in next movies including Fast 10.

Fast 8 - Charlize Theron new villain. Helps Dom and gang in Fast 10 and is good one now.

Fast 9 - John Cena shows up as new villain. Is lovable and friendly Uncle Jacob in Fast 10.

Fast 10. Jason Momoa is villain now. And you know 100% that bitch won’t die and will become part of Doms circle in next chapters.

And since they dont kill cool villains played by famous actors and just bring them back - cast becomes so bloated and budget sky rocketed to 340 millions because they all want big money.

Quite disappointing how they handled Cipher. First turning her into another generic "fighter" and then "redeeming" her. She was such a great villain in 8.

Sometimes villains just need to be villains. No need to redeem them. They just have to lose and die. Voldemort doesnt need to become Harry’s ally against new villain in new sequels. Hans Gruber doesnt need to become best friend of John McClane in sequel.

In opening credits for Fast 7 Jason Statham walks out of the hospital and walks past around 20 police or security officers who were guarding his brothers hospital stay I assume. They were just regular workers, not villains. They all had family and life. At one moment Jason takes grenade, put it in the hands of police guy and throws him into nurse and doctor. Then they all blow up. This guy killed so many innocent people. And now he is good and fun guy in Fast 10 and casually helps Doms gang.

With someone of her status, I think she would have some kind of fighting skills just in case of a betrayal. I sort of want to say because she is a woman too and some men don't like to take orders from women. But with all the hired help, there was no reason to use her combat skills. Just let others use their skills and she'd save hers for when she really needed them. Plus it would seem out of place if they gave her a scene or two in 8 or 9 to show off the fighting skills. And the marketing for 10 helped. They heavily used the Letty vs. Cipher fight in the marketing, so you kind of knew she could fight. So when Momoa stole all her resources, it didn't seem too out-of-place. It felt believable. But I can give that a pass. It would've been nice though if they kept her a villain. 8 REALLY set her up to be a big threat. I can sort of give her turn to the good side a pass. Dom wasn't thrilled to see her at first, and Letty doesn't seem to trust her. Dom was quick to being okay on seeing Statham and Cena again. They also did give Cipher a reason to turn good. Statham and Cena were more like "okay, we are good guys now." But Cipher was stripped of everything and betrayed. To me, I saw Aria T'Loak from the Mass Effect games with what happens to Cipher. When I was watching the betrayal scene, it just felt like "is she going to be like Aria and take back Omega now?" It felt like Cipher lost her "Omega" when Momoa came in and took everything. And Cipher knows that Momoa is an even bigger threat than her, so it was best to turn good and help stop him. This could be why Vin Diesel is saying a possible 12th movie is being made. Maybe after Momoa is defeated and Cipher gets back everything, Cipher turns bad again and then 12 is this massive showdown of good guys vs. Cipher. We'll see though.

Strangely, not entirely true:-
https://screenrant.com/fast-furious-10-budget-higher-compared-to-f9/#:~:text=COVID%20and%20Inflation%20Explain%20Fast,is%20also%20a%20major%20factor.

COVID-19 shutdowns and new safety procedures result in increased costs for all movies, and a sharp rise in inflation is also a major factor. Fast X's already reported $300 million budget in 2021 dollars jumps to almost exactly $340 million in 2022 dollars after adjusting for inflation. In fact, adjusted to 2017 dollars, Fast X's budget would be $277 million, which is barely more than The Fate of the Furious' reported $250-270 budget range.

What are you talking about? Johnny Tran never came back. Neither did Reyes from Fast Five

I meant when thy started hiring famous actors for villain role. Started with Rock. They even didn’t kill Luke Evans who is not even that much famous. But they still brought him so "save the day".

I honestly dont even remember villains from other movies. So forgettable they were.

With that little speech/monologue Momoa gives at the end, I don't think he is going to turn good. He seems like he is really going to be the final/big bad guy. Plus throw in that he is targeting Hobbs/The Rock. The only way I could see him turning good is if someone even bigger comes in and strips him of stuff (like what he did to Cipher/Charlize Theron). But I think they are keeping Momoa a bad guy.

Cipher/Charlize Theron I'm split on. They should've kept her a villain and THE big/final villain, but they did give her a good reason to turn good. Everyone else was kind of predictable, especially Jason Statham since he was still alive at the end of 7. Once it was revealed he was still alive and being escorted to his cell, it was obvious he was turning good. But I thought they really would have Cipher be the villain. At least they gave her a reason to turn good. And I don't mind it either because she screamed Aria T'Loak from the Mass Effect games when she got betrayed and stuff. Also, when she showed up at Dom's house, you could tell he wasn't thrilled to see her. Statham and Cena, he really wasn't like that. Oh and we don't know for sure if Cipher will remain good. I can see a betrayal happening. But we'll see. I'm going with she is good now. It would've been nice to see her continue being THE big villain since they set her up to be a big threat throughout 8. I think I'm going to be split on her until I see where her arc goes.
