They should've left this a secret until we are actually watching the movie. But I figured she would be brought back when it was revealed that Owen Shaw was still alive at the beginning of Furious 7 and then moving around in Fate Of The Furious aka 8. If he could survive been launched out of a plane, she could be able to survive her fall. I think Owen had a worse "death." With how he was launched out of that plane, he had to of "rag dolled" for a good mile or so. Gisele though should've just slammed hard into the ground, or at least "rag dolled" for a good fifty feet or so. Maybe a quarter of how far Owen went at the most. Something like that. Also, with Han being brought back, I was pretty much "oh, they have to bring Gisele back now." But this should've been kept for when we are actually watching the movie. Keep it a surprise. I'm sort of hoping that maybe Cipher recovered her body and is holding her captive somewhere. Doesn't seem like Mr. Nobody knows anything about her. But with Cipher being "behind the scenes" for a couple movies, she had to have swooped in there and recovered Gisele's body. Plus she probably recovered Owen as well. I'm guessing Deckard and Cipher were working together in 7, and Cipher was how Deckard was so resourceful in 7 and kept randomly popping up wherever the team was. So Cipher had to have recovered Owen and maybe even Gisele. Cipher probably forced Deckard to work for her because of saving Owen. Maybe it'll be revealed that Gisele is brainwashed and working for Cipher (almost similar to Lettty's situation in 6 and sort of Fast Five (offscreen)) and the team has to bring her back to the good side. Or Cipher is just simply holding her captive and it's a subplot of the movie. Could be even THE plot of the movie and the whole movie is some rescue mission. I think Gisele is going to tie into that Han and Deckard scene during 9's end credits. Possibly more redemption for Deckard for trying to kill Han (since Han is still alive).
shareInteresting idea, considering that the plot we know is that Cipher and Dante (Momoa) will be teaming up against Dom and his team, who are enlisting old allies (Deckard, Jakob, Little Nobody, Leysa, Queenie, etc) and new allies (Larson, Ritchson, Melchior) to help them in their fight. So a rescue mission could also be a big part of it
