they should've done the last season first
Imagine, Season 1 is in the 50s, the classic Archie most of us think of first. And since it's the original season, it doesn't feel weird. Then in the season finale, a bomb hits and they're all blown to the future. Seasons 1-6 shift to being 2-7. Then a comet hits and blows them back to the 50s. Would've felt more satisfying and made the crazier plotlines over the years make a bit more sense in a way.
