I wonder if at some point we'll find out Cheryl was adopted in the same way Penelope was? I also like that it seems we may finally be circling back to Cheryl's line in early Season 2 to Penelope about telling people "what really happened in that barn," though in this show, I could almost see Penelope trying to pin it on Cheryl. And when will Betty realize that Nana Rose should often be an early stop for information?

Archie's defiant wannabe alpha "rebel without a cause" act got old quick, hopefully it stays wrapped up. And maybe it will be, for a bit. Because I trust Archie to intend to keep his pact with Hiram. However, key difference. If they keep their pact, Archie's other life actions won't bother Hiram any further than potential romantic involvement with Veronica. Hiram's actions will of course continue to be immoral and piss Archie off and eventually Archie will have to react, prompting Hiram to retaliate, cue reintroduction of Darkchie and a hotter reignition of their rivalry, possibly the one ending in Hiram's death that I feel is inevitable. I bet Hiram was secretly awake and listening to Archie right before the hitman walked in. The truce was just a calculated as always move on his part. And with that attempt on his life, it will be harder for Veronica to keep up the ruse that he's fine in the limo. But yeah, Stupid Archie is tolerable, Darkchie is miserably irritating, and only escalates his rise as one of TV's most annoying lead characters. Maybe they'll pull a Marissa Cooper a la The OC? We can hope. And there is precedent in the comics.

Hi Josie, nice to see ya! Veronica asked her to be the regular singer at the speakeasy, yet it feels like it's mostly Veronica's thing and Josie's a guest star. So, Josie finally reappears to sing a tune, which sadly gets interrupted, a bit insultingly. Then sadly, selflessly, (stupidly?) she sacrifices it to help Archie. Then stayed the night in that dress. Her usual storyline ripped from her to be foisted in a different one and it felt clunky. But, with the bar scene at the end with them, I feel like the show's getting us ready for an Archie and Josie pairing. Also I don't think a cold shower alone will solve Archie's problems.

Kevin, where are you? Speaking of which, YES, PLEASE YES, give us Archie and Tom boxing together.
