Archie Meets Glee

Just read about it earlier, weird. I guess Dilton finds out about it and has some weird device that brings the two groups together. And I think he felt it was necessary because of how alike the two groups are. Which was really really lame reasoning. He had two main reasons. The first being how important music is in both universes. I think that's overstating it on Riverdale's part. Music is there, sure, but it's not a musical per se like Glee was. Which is more than fine, I think they hit the level of music in the show just right. But beyond that, it's like, "Two cultures where music is important." Yeah how truly unique, because most cultures don't value music, haha. And the second reason was because of vague comparisons of different characters most basic traits. He also said that Quinn is like Betty's evil twin. Um what? If anything it's the other way around. Yeah, Quinn could often be characterized as willfully bitchy, and Betty is much less of that. But Quinn's brand of evil never really went past petty high school attitudes, whereas Betty has done some truly dark things.
