Archie comics is supposed to be goofy and funny. What the hell are they doing? And why are they changing characters around? Dumb.

Afterlife with Archie. Look it up. That's the tone that they were going for. A goofy and funny Archie wouldn't see the light of day in the broadcast networks with how high the failure rate of past live action Archie in the past.
