So now- everything we watch will be "dark" .......no matter what it is .

Seriously- if everyday is Halloween......... Halloween will no longer be a special day.

Youth & Entertainment Culture Industries .......... do you understand this ? If you were a dog would I have to push your face in your pee-puddle ?

Yeah- I know- growing up Buffy was your favorite show and your parents or older siblings watch Twin Peaks.
I hope this fails. And it will.

Are there no sitcoms or comedies where you live?

You could blame Christopher Nolan for the reason why all comic book adaptations have to be gritty. But then again, Nolan saved Batman and is a genius so it is a double-edged sword. It worked because Nolan did it but it won't work for everyone who wants to adapt things because not everyone has his talent.

Still, I am actually a life long Archie fan and so is my mum. I will watch this show because it looks good and apparently the pilot was very well tested, if not the best tested in the CW's history. It has a twin peaks vibe.

You're everything to me, always have been... the sound of your voice will always bring me home.

I totally agree with you OP. Nothing is sacred anymore it seems. I'm still looking forward to a more comedic version of Archie closer to the version I grew up reading. I still find it kind of weird that a no-brainer project like Archie always seems to end up so terribly bad every time they attempt a live action version.

The Sin City comic tv series will be all light and fluffy and a musical.

Agree OP. It's a shame.
