The comics has Supernatural stuff and monsters
When will they introduce all that to the show. Because the trailer seem like a damn teen soap instead
shareFor the most part only Archie Horror and the Sabrina comics really have that much supernatural stuff.
And they're being frustratingly vague about Riverdale having any supernatural elements but there's not any in the first half of season 1. Sabrina is supposed to join the cast at the end of season 1. I think they'll end up pulling an Arrow and introducing the paranormal before she leaves, and then spin her off to her own show.

IMO if Riverdale is a hit then it won't introduce supernatural themes and stay a teen soap. I see them going Supernatural only if the ratings are only passable enough to get renewed. I see that as last ditch effort to try and save the show.
Berlanti would rather sacrifice this show than any of his Superhero shows.
